Singer Emmy Curl decided to do something radical with the music video for her original song, "Come Closer." With the help of filmmaker Nuno Barbosa and artist João Tiago Fernandes, Emmy turned her body into a living canvas.
Fernandes designed the 'body paintings' that are projected onto Emmy's body, and these projections are unaltered by special effects in post-production. What's even more impressive is that the video was shot in one take; what you are seeing in the video happened in real time exactly as-is. It takes an incredible amount of coordination to perfectly map projections onto a moving and changing surface, especially a surface as complex as the human form; the fact that Emmy's video looks flawless is a testament to how much work was put into this piece.
