Agnes Cecile wanted to do something special for her first solo exhibit, so she took to the wall that led into the exhibit and created an absolutely breathtaking mural. The mural displays her signature style, a kind of watercolor-esque wash with incomplete forms. Her paintings are ephemeral, almost as if they will fly away in front of your eyes. Her strokes and lines signify a kind of movement and help guide your eye across all the subtle nuances in her color stains.

In the video below, you will see a time lapse of her mural creation from start to finish. Her work takes several delightful turns; a simple female face transforms into an ethereal, abstract portrait that seems to be melting both into the ground and into an imagined gust of wind all at once. The resulting mural is not only completely entrancing by day - just wait until you see it lit up at night!
